Simone’s involvement with Spiritualism began over 20 years ago and she became a tutor at the Arthur Findlay College in the mid 1990’s. She works extensively in the fields of mediumship and healing throughout the UK and Internationally. Mediumship is her core activity, which she demonstrates both publicly and privately. She regularly teaches many aspects of spiritualism, providing lectures, seminars, and workshops and is also a tutor-trainer. Trance and trance healing are important aspects of her work, which she has developed very successful results.
Simone tutors up and coming mediums as well as training teachers. A dynamic teacher, she encourages her students to achieve their own potential in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Willing to break boundaries she is keen to bring innovation and experimentation to her teaching. Although she expects a lot from her students, Simone is willing to demonstrate to them what is she wishes them to achieve and importantly, she will encourage them to obtain the necessary skills. Simone has the power to bring about a change in all those who place their trust in her. A Brief Resume by Simone I now recognize that from birth and throughout my teenage years I was very psychic. Premonitions, both good and bad, were regular occurrence and I seemed to just “know” things about people. I was frequently aware of someone watching over me; the people seen I dismissed as being conjured up from a very vivid imagination. When I was at school, I was often reprimanded for daydreaming and now, of course, I recognize and understand that this is the state of mind we need to achieve in order to see the spirit world.
My Mother was Egyptian and my Father is a Scot - quite an unusual combination and, although they did not realize it, both my Mother and Maternal Grandmother were natural mediums and they, too, received many accurate premonitions. However, as the subject of spirit and Spiritualism were taboo in our household, there were no discussions.
In my early years I set out to find religion for me. What was it, this “faith” that everyone appeared to enjoy? All I could perceive from my attendances in churches was that God was all too often angry and allowed loved ones and pets to die. Not for me this thing called religion and, because of my naivety and lack of understanding at the time, little could I comprehend that God is neither good or bad, just is.
About 20 years ago I became very ill. Many things of a psychic nature happened to me and I found Spiritualism. Mediumship developed overnight, one minute I felt there may possibly be some truth in life after death and the next I seeing the spirit world as clearly and sharply as I see people on earth. My work with spirit began in healing and shortly after I became a working medium.
I am an Officiate (OSNU, officiating at weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies and blessings) and an Approved Teacher (TSNU) of the Spiritualist National Union and hold Certificate of Speaking and Demonstrating as well as Chairman of the SNU’s Training and Awards Committee. I work extensively throughout Great Britain as a teacher, medium and healer, presenting seminars, talks and public demonstrations. My work as a Course Organizer and Teacher of the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Studies, coupled with my work overseas, namely Germany, USA, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa and Holland gives me great personal fulfillment and I feel honored and privileged to work for spirit and Spiritualism.
