Home Development Circles are an opportunity to develop your psychic / mediumistic / spiritual skills in a supportive environment with other "like minded people." They meet once or twice per month depending upon the particular group. After the first few meetings the group is closed to new members so that learning can progress rather than always staying at a basic level to accommodate new people. Each Home Development Circle includes a meditation, a lesson or topic for the evening, and hands on practice of some form of Mediumship. Call to arrange to be part of one in your area !
Yes...these are skills you can learn and use everyday!!!
Groups currently forming in Tallahassee, Jacksonville & Gainesville.

In the last newsletter I wrote about Inspirational Writing from my Home Development Circles...I want to do that again in this column. I learn so much from those writings. The two included in the Students Corner this time are special for the warmth between them, written with out one knowing the content of the others.
At the time Leigh wrote her piece she was only 16 years old and had been in the group less than a year even though I’ve know she and her family for several years now. Leigh’s quiet most of the time and this writing exercise gave her a chance to show the neat things "inside" her. She is so much older and wiser than her age. Like Jane said in her writing, "young people today are remembering earlier. Some listen to their inner being so early that they appear never to have forgotten." And that is Leigh.
When we were talking after the writing session, we found out Leigh had received a blow to her head...just as Jane had written in her piece during the same session. "Some say that their 3rd eye has been opened. This event is often a near-death experience or an accident like a blow to the head. There is one here that has had this experience." Spirit teaches us so much if we just listen.
As you can probably tell from the 2 writings there is a lovely bond between Jane and Leigh...well really all of us in the group with Leigh. There is no such thing as a Generation Gap in that group. Except for her Dad, I think the rest of us are old enough be her grandparent!!! But it doesn’t matter-that group has such a nice feeling to it. Like Jane said in her writing "The others here are blessed to know her - and they are a blessing to her." That feels so true in that group.
In my 5+ years of teaching groups like this I’ve been lucky enough to have had other young people. One of those people was Jacob, and he joined my Home Development Circle with his Dad when he was only 9 years old. His 2 big sisters had been in a group with Mom for awhile when he joined. It was so refreshing to see life and spirituality through Jacob’s eyes. I’m hoping another young person in Jacksonville will be joining us soon. His Dad keeps telling me he’s interested so I do hope he joins us.
Are these young people some of the "Indigo Children" we’ve been reading and hearing about? I’m not sure, could be. What I do know is that I feel privileged to know them and to have any amount of influence on their young lives. I like exposing them to the idea that death is only a change not an end...that there is so much more to life than what we see here on this earth plane. I enjoy helping them to know it’s OK to feel kindness and love toward their fellow man. And it’s OK to show and express it too. I like helping them to know you can be a really good person even if you’re not perfect. Indigo Children or not, these young people help me to know life is going just fine...today and in the future too. Keep up the good work all you lovely young people. The world will be a better place if you do!!!!
The following writings are from two of my Home Development Circle students in Tallahassee. They are being used with the permission of the writers. These were written on September 24, 2005. We did a meditation before everyone started writing but no particular topic was suggested. The only instructions were to let the Spirit World connect with you and then to write whatever you felt moved to write.
To Leigh
When we are born we start anew. We do not remember the lessons we learned in previous lifetimes because we have chosen to experience anew. Our inner being does remember and will guide us as we allow.
Children and young people today are remembering earlier. Some listen to their inner being so early that they appear never to have forgotten. These are our most valuable resource.
Sometimes something will happen to open a person and cause them to be aware or remember. Some say that their 3rd eye has been opened. This event is often a near-death experience or an accident like a blow to the head.
There is one here that has had this experience. If she chooses she will do great things.
The others here are blessed to know her--and they are a blessing to her.

The new inspiration for today is to know that you are loved, feel that you are loved and act like you’re loved. Feel not the sadness and confusion of pity. Don’t spoil things that can be good by not allowing them to be good. You are constantly socializing around persons. You cannot be alone. Love emanates from all around you. You are sad because you do not allow the love to take a higher rank in yourself. The feeling of home (Spirit World) allows you to be and grow stronger. The love is what you breathe. It sustains life. So allow yourself to grow stronger and build / learn better from this love. It is a good feeling. Know that you are loved. Feel it. The feeling of safety or better yet the happening of that. You go about doing things and are not scared or sad or have negative thoughts. But that when you provide and continue to be productive but you don’t feel harm or negativity….that is complete acceptance of love. It is always all around you. Feel it, live it, breath it and better things will come. You have always been able to allow yourself power; fill up on love. Love is peace. Love is kindness with yourself. Love is when you breathe and know all that you have to do is take the step forward / take the plunge / make the action. All of that is knowing you’re loved. Take this and accept it because it is love.
